Are you in love with the Sudbury model and can’t wait to have one for your family in our community? Then we need your help, planning our school. We are looking for folks to help get the word out through fliers and brochures and social media and most importantly, word of mouth. We are also looking for staff and a location. Financial and Legal suppport are also needed. If you have any skills you can share, we’d love your help.

Our next planning meeting will be on Monday, November 10th, 6-7:30. Email info at sudburykentuckiana dot org for directions.

Join us on Sunday, August 3rd, 3-4 PM to learn more about the Sudbury School of Kentuckiana.

We plan on opening the school in the Fall of 2015, but will be having a Co-op that will democratically meet and learn one day each week.

Learn why families are choosing a Sudbury School for their child’s education and how Sudbury helps young people to become successful, independent adults.

We will be meeting at Seneca Park at the picnic tables near the playground. Bring a chair or blanket.

Curious? Information Meeting, June 29th

Meet parents and future staff who can speak to why they are choosing the Sudbury Model of freedom for their children.

We will meet at the picnic tables by the playground, near the Second Street Bridge. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. There is also a bike trail along the flood wall and yummies at the Widow’s Walk Ice Creamery, or check out the fossils at the Falls.

WEATHER UPDATE! If it is raining hard with lightning this afternoon, let’s gather in the lobby of the Main Branch of the LFPL, 301 York Street, and we’ll try to get a room. If it’s nice, we’ll meet in the park. Lewis & Clark Days is going on!

Come hear about the Sudbury School of Kentuckiana’s visit to The Circle School, Arts & Ideas Sudbury, and Fairhaven School this month. Parents and Staff will answer questions about why they are a part of a movement to create a school for Sudburians in our community.

Children and Teens are invited to mix and mingle with future Sudburians.
